BROWNSEA ISLAND... the birthplace of Scouting
we are just 7 miles (13 minutes drive) from the island, with easy access by public transport
youth groups can apply for Educational Group Membership of the National Trust, which will significantly reduce the cost of a visit to Brownsea Island
pre-booking is recommended as there is a restriction on the number of visitors to the island each day

There are various walks including the Stour Valley Way and Castleman Trailway, both with easy access from the site. Alternatively there are several hike routes in the New Forest or the Isle of Purbeck, both a short drive from the site.
