Whatever the age or ability of your group, our new auto-belay simulated rock climbing wall is sure to provide challenge and excitement.

The auto-belay system makes climbing more efficient as only one instructor is required to operate the wall - climbing is controlled by an automatic descender device which is operated from the ground. This is a simulated rock face, offering a different experience to our traditional climbing wall. Equipment and instructors can be arranged although pre-booking is essential.

Auto-belay rock climbing sessions can accommodate a maximum of twelve participants per hour - you can arrange additional hours if necessary. See the price guide for session costs. This activity is available at any time, day or night, in dry weather, as the climbing complex is lit.

MINIMUM HEIGHT: 1.1 metres

MINIMUM WEIGHT LIMIT: 5 stone (70lb/32kg)

MAXIMUM WEIGHT LIMIT: 17 stone (238lb/108kg)

MINIMUM WAIST SIZE: 40cm (16inch)

MAXIMUM WAIST SIZE: 125cm (49 inch)

Butchers Coppice instructors are usually available in the evenings and at weekends.
