We have an outdoor covered archery range, available all year round. Equipment and instructors can be arranged, although pre-booking is essential.

Archery sessions can accommodate a maximum of twelve participants per hour. You can arrange additional hours if necessary. See the price guide for session costs. This activity is available at any time, day or night, regardless of the weather, as the archery range is covered and lit. Participants must be at least eight years of age to take part in this activity (Beaver Scout and Rainbow Guide groups are exempt from age restrictions).

Butchers Coppice instructors are usually available in the evenings and at weekends.

Visitors with their own archery qualifications may hire our archery range without equipment. Evidence of the relevant qualification must be provided on arrival. Archery clubs or private archers are welcome to hire the facilities under their own arrangements and at their own risk.

Please ensure that you are wearing closed footwear in the archery range - no flip-flops or open-toed footwear is allowed - please also remove any watches or jewellery from your arms and ensure any loose upper clothing is tucked in and long hair is tied back.
