"we were a group of Explorers with 3 Leaders and one 9 month old baby doing a cycle expedition starting in Winchester then to Cricket campsite at Southampton and finally on to yourselves... the Explorers voted Butchers Coppice as the best site that we stayed at for activities and facilities, especially the showers... as for myself, I was surprised to find a baby changing room, which proved most helpful..." "we had a brilliant time even with the rain, the Scouts were reluctant to go home... it was great not to have to worry about anything as it gave us Leaders a chance to sit back, relax and really get to know our new Scouts and for the older ones to see we aren't old fogies yet!... as a result four of the eldest who are just moving on have all asked to come back as Young Leaders... the site is definitely on our list of places to revisit and we would like to say a huge thank-you to all the staff - we had an awesome time and couldn't have done it without you all!..." "thank you for the wonderful week we recently spent at Butchers Coppice... the Guides and Leaders all had a thoroughly enjoyable week with you... we were very impressed with the site and the helpfulness of all the staff, it made the Leaders' job much easier!... the girls had a fantastic time when we used the climbing wall one afternoon; the instructors were so friendly and encouraging... we also enjoyed some of the other facilities including the games room, campfire circle and agility trail... we had a lovely day out at Brownsea Island, the site was in a great location for so many places we wanted to visit... everyone involved had a fantastic camp and this is definitely a site we would consider returning to in the future..."
